Seen a few reports of this , ascertaining if it is a general bug
have you tried the steps at this thread at all ?

Not yet. Like i said before it comes up every once in a while. i had planned on trying these fixes once it surfaced again
ive had the same, problem, go to a quest hand in or interact within a section of a quest that gives a conversation and then when i come out the bottom half of the UI is gone, Action bars health, mini map, This has happened on more than one character and trying Ctrl U twice to reload the UI cause the game to shutdown completely, i tried the delete procedures in the thread and it still happens. also the repair function in the settings part of the launcher is greyed out/unresponsive. Any ideas would be appreciated thankyou
If you have an ST in the lower left side of the Launcher, delet, with closed Game, the folder Bitraider.
If there is no ST you have to be logged in to use the repair function.
