SWTOR: Why do I have to rename all my characters?
I haven't played SWTOR in a while, but I decided to redownload it and start playing again. I've got a 40ish Sith Warrior, as well as a few other characters, but when I logged on I found that I had to rename all my characters, which is extremely frustrating. Can anyone explain why that is? Is there any way I can keep my character names? Thanks.

Last year, the servers were merged. Probably another player has taken your character name.
