Re: Battlefront 2 won't download from the Epic Store

I might have found a solution for those that are still having issues. This did work for me, but it may also not work for you, as it is not a definite fix.

Anyway, I claimed BF2 on EGS. Before clicking install, I made sure I had Origins installed and signed in. THEN I tried to install the game from EGS. This is where I was having the issue of the game not installing. EGS would redirect me to Origins and Origins just kept saying "preparing to download" without actually doing the thing. SO. I did a system restart to make sure EGS wasn't running and booted up Origins and signed in. DO NOT RUN THE EPIC GAME STORE TO TRY TO DOWNLOAD AFTER RESTARTING. Origins will see that you own the game in their library. Install BF2 from there. It started downloading for me just fine after that.
