Account security key, display name, or recovery code is invalid/expired

Question

played a long time ago with display name "RainorShine". I am unsure if this is, or was, linked to ea account - doesn't appear to be linked to the EA account I'm posting with nowdownloaded again through Steam, launched ok, and I receive the password reset email just fine, but on creating a new password I receive the message "Account security key, display name, or recovery code is invalid/expired". Have tried both firefox and MS Edge browsers.unable to create a new account with same email while RainorShine display name exists

if you don't have the password nor the security key on the swtor account, you will need to call swtor support when the lines are open to remove the key to allow you to do a password reset on that account&nbsp;
