Re: Stuck on Loading Screen PS4 SIMS4

Hey there, @JJ11890 and @BilboSwaggins982.

Let's try restarting the PlayStation 4, if you haven't already. I know I have a bad habit of just letting my PlayStation sleep and think that's sufficient, but sometimes it does need a full 'reboot', so to speak.

To restart a PlayStation 4:

  1. Press and hold the PS button for at least 1 second
  2. Select [Turn Off PS4]
  3. Once the console is off, turn on the console again

Please let me know how it goes.

    Thanks for the update, @JJ11890.

Let's Restore Licenses on the PlayStation 4. To do that, select Settings > [Account Management] > [Restore Licenses].

Please let me know how it goes.

Hi there, I am having the same issue and I have tried to restart My PS4 and restore the licenses multiple times but nothing works. It is stuck on the screen (see attached) and no amount of poking the X button will do anything. This issue only happened after I downloaded the Realm of Magic Add-on. Please help as I cannot play the game!!

    Sul sul, @Hatiro01.

Let's try a few more things to see if we can get you back into the game.

    1. Check to make sure your PS4's system software is up to date.

    2. Try a cold boot of your console. In this case, don't just restart it, but shut it completely down and unplug it from the wall for 1-2 minutes. This helps clear the cache of the console.

    3. Make sure your PS4 is currently set as your primary console.

Please let me know how that works for you.
