Sims 4 PS4 Bug Issues After July 23, 2024 Update

Since the update on July 23rd, my Sims 4 game for the PS4 has had no stop glitches / crashes / issues. Things such as cursor disappearing, simology panel not opening, sims disappearing after enrolling into college, sims not graduating even though they were valedictorian. I feel as if I am losing out on the experience that the packs have to offer & wasting time on playing this game lately. Highly disappointing after the release of the new pack & updates for the "bugs." The game was functioning better before the update. 

I've been working hard on trying to complete the 10 generation legacy challenge - when my 5th generation sim disappeared completely from my file after I enrolled her into college. Before I forget to mention, I purchased the university pack right before the update. First time using this pack hasn't been a pleasant experience. First, my teen turned into a young adult & wasn't give the option to graduate (even though she was valedictorian). Second, applied for scholarships which glitched. Received 3 letters in the mail, 2 of the 3 were the same letter. The 3 letters remained in my inventory as a new item no matter how many times I "opened" them. Finally, applied to college was accepted for a distinguished degree, select my degree, select housing arrangements, pay for college, split household appears however the "green check mark" was dark shaded meaning my cursor wouldn't select the option to proceed forward. The game wasn't allowing me to cancel / exit the split household screen... so I saved the file... thinking my sim wouldn't be enrolled into college... right?... because I didn't click the final submit button... right?... HA! HA! HA! ... open the game back up & my 5th generation sim is gone from the entire world. Not in college. Not in other households. Not in played households. Not even an option in my legacy family anymore.. she's just gone. POOF! I am highly disappointed as this did take a long time to get this far on this save & time put into the sim.. thinking I may put the controller down until EA resolves these issues. 💔
