Are you starting a new game each time? Have you tried looking into manage worlds to see what sims are there

I just tried to create 2 pers to combine them like i used to do. But now when i am playing with one sim i created and try to merge his household with another household i created, the second one doesnt even appear in the list. See pics attached before.
Looking at the pictures it looks like you have them on different saves that's why i wondered if you started a new game when creating your second person are you playing on ps4 or xbox?
i'm having this same issue were you ever able to fix it?
