I'm also experiencing the freeze issues after CL game pack install about a month ago(?). Have 2 separate saved games. In older game, freeze & reset began on home lot in Windenburg (after CL install) . Also, freeze at school time w/kids in that saved game. Ultra speed stopped working & clock whacky at bedtime. Created new game w/new family in Spice Mkt. Same issues but didn't have school age kids until after last patch. Notice freeze around Festival times in the CL (all destinations). Moved Sims to HOUSE in Spice Mkt. Same issues, but since last patch the drinks/food at stalls/bars are being dropped & Sims reset (among other fixed issues resurfacing), and no freeze at school time. I reset my files the other day but forgot to delete autosave file. Repaired game after that. Still wonky. I'm not that great at PC stuff. But here's laptop Dxdiag attached. I checked PC specs against game requirements. All check out w/exception of PC speed (?). Thanks for helping.

Forgot to add: NEVER CC/NEVER MODS. I've been using bb.MoveObjects cheat, but turn cheat off after applying it.
I don't know if Ive done this right. But here it is.

you only have 4 GB of RAM and your graphics chip isn't the greatest either.
Have you tried lowering your graphics settings ?
Also try emptying out some inventories.

Hi @Jessmia2
your processor is rather on the low side, you also only have 4 GB of RAM and your graphics card drivers are from 2012. Try updating those
Also try lowering your settings and emptying out inventories
- Thanks for your help. I plan to get a new computer one day, so what should I look for in a computer if I wanted the sims 4 plus all the extensions plus mods to run smoothly? And what is better, laptop or desktop?

Usually a desktop is better for game cause you get more powerful computers for your money. Depends on what you'll need it for otherwise though$
These are my recommandations
Processor: i5 or i7 with at least 2.5 Ghz (don't get an i3, they have overheating issues)
RAM: at least 6-12 GB RAM
Graphics Card: Very important. Get something that is green across the board on here: http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:TS3_System_Requirements
Operating System: A 64 bit system is a must
Hard Drive: at least 500 GB

My graphics are on medium-low I believe, but I'll try lowering them to the lowest and see if that helps. As far as the inventories go, I am a hoarder in that regard. Hah hah. My Sims don't use anything but fresh ingredients when cooking. But I guess I can change that up and see if it helps. Thanks for the feedback. =)
P.S. I used this link https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/requirements/the-sims-4/12305 to test system requirement against Sims 4. It's a secure web page, but the link on it to update drivers ([Edited by EA_Mai - download links to third party sources not allowed, please, for your security, download the drivers from official websites]) was flagged by my PC's security system.
