My audio has been skipping the past few days. Drivers are all up to date, game has been repaired in Origin. Don't know what else to do at this point but playing in silence is starting to tick me off. Dxdiag attached. I have every pack except Star Wars, and no CC or Mods.
@sarahhenry9393 The sound driver for your speakers is from 2016, so the place to start is with an update. In fact, it's worth letting Windows look for updates for all the sound devices it knows about. Hit Windows key-X, choose the Device Manager, expand the Sound section, click on each entry in turn, and click the black and green Update button. Repeat for the entries in the Audio section. Restart your computer when you're done.
If this doesn't help, please connect a different sound device that uses a different type of connection and let me know whether the audio still skips. If it does, disconnect the speakers, restart your computer, and test again.
