I uninstalled Sophos Home and my game launched instantly. I had tried everything in this thread except for reinstalling Windows.
Uninstalling Sophos Home worked for me, too. I don't know how I feel about removing it from my PC. Hopefully, there will be compatibility later.
I don't have Sophos Home :/
Side Note: With today's update I wasn't able to reach the splash screen
- Go to sophos settingsThen to Exploits -> Exploit Migation -> Advanced SettingsThen disable:- Prevent APC violation- Prevent code cave utilizationUPDATE:I seem to have found a better way.If you open Sophos on your computerAt the bottom got to troubleshootingThen add Local Exclusions, add both Apex and Easy anti cheat. They should by default be located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Apex\Alternative use the above
I wish I had sophos so I could use that solution.lol
This helped with mine.
If you have a windows computer, then go to the search bar on the bottom right, and type check for updates. If you have an update, click it, and you should be set.
