I gifted my friend the Rebel Devil 2500 coin bundle about an hour ago and he hasn't received it. Coins were taken and said that it went through.
Any feedback on this would be appreciated.
So the game gave it to him with no notification. Like not in the inbox nor with the red triangle showing a new item, just appeared in his legend locker.

Does your friend play on Steam? If so, they might need to log into the game via the EA App.
There have been cases where users that buy coins on Steam, or receive gifts on Steam, have to log in on the EA App to receive them.
I do not know why this happens, and it's quite the roundabout way, but I'd recommend your friend to launch the game via the EA App if they haven't already, and see if that will grant them the gift.
If I remember correctly, I don't think he's able to access his EA account. He does play just solely on Steam.

Well it's quite hit or miss, in some cases the gift could show up later, you or your friend could hit up EA Support, might be worthwhile.
Though I'd still urge your friend to get access to his EA Account again, it's quite important after all.
