Fanboys like you are the problem, incapable of liking the game and disliking problems like lootboxes at the same time. If they want to make money, they should do it via less shady means.

 I don't care whether other people spend money on the game in the same way as You shouldn't care that I haven't spent money on the game! What is wrong with you? We are supposed to be a community! Just face the facts. It is inevitable that some people will spend $10, $20, $100, etc. And whether that is me or you, it is supporting Respawn right? Just because you think something should happen doesn't mean it will nor does it mean it needs to. You wouldn't make a homeless man give money to charity when he has no stable income in the same way as it is wrong to force an opinion upon someone or stop them from supporting or doing something they love. If you want to spend your money then that is fine. If you don't... Wait for it... IT'S FINE! Just don't boast to people that you just bought 500 apex packs and expect no comebacks. I came here because I am having the same problem as the first guy, not to have an argument. FFS!

Just let people enjoy free games for free

If it is like that your family probably should not have spent money on a pc or gaming console that 300 to 500 dollars could have been spent in much better ways just bringing this up since you made it super dramatic

I wont spend a nickle on this game for one reason. EA. This is the only game EA has right now that isnt failing miserably.

I'm against loot boxes in AAA titles, that are £60.00 in the first place.

This is a free game and I have bought some packs to show support, and because I love playing Apex and see it as a longterm title I'll play for ages.

EA are awful I agree, but this is the first title I've bought loot boxes on for years. I think Respawn deserve some credit.

Now all the EA sport franchise, Activisions monetary practices along with Ubisoft are the real real issues. They are full priced games designed around ripping off their customer base. They are the titles to not invest in imo. 

im currently lvl 26. spended some money yesterday to unlock mirage and get me some boxes to.

i don´t mind spending money ingame. today transactions ingame is everywhere and in all games.

and as the beautiful game this is, i gladly give respawn some cred for it since it is free to play.

I will more than happily spend money on this game when the Battle Passes are out, but I am more and more tempted to splash some support on the less value-for-money apex packs too.

In response to that little explosion someone had all emotional and triggered - you do you, whatever you want, everyone knows that. But do not spread the message 'don't spend a single dollar on this game, you can just cheap it out, use it up, complain on forums and then go to the next free game for a couple of months'. Devs did an incredible job with Apex Legends, and if I have fun, I will always support the team, provided I'm happy with the way they update, patch and add new content.

I don't think a person with serious financial problems or a 13-yo kid with poor parents should feel obliged to spend, but to keep this real, there are also a lot of people who don't want to support because of excuses and being stingy - sure, almost no-one is a millionaire, but many take the game for granted too. If you look at your spending patterns, I'm sure you'll find random $10 wastes of money for momentary pleasure, some drinks at the bar, some food in the restaurant, some other lame purchases, so for someone to say they can't afford a one-off $10 battle pass for 3 months, they really must be ones of the very few financially disabled people out there, and then it's totally cool not to support.

You ever heard of this thing called gifts? I got my PS4 as a gift from a girlfriend of 2 years, so there's that. Stop assuming, or you'll make yourself look like an *. As for dramatic, I guess that's your opinion, because everything I said was true, so how is it dramatic? Do you enjoy replying to people just to assume things about them and bash them? How lovely, you are.

Emotional breakdown? I simply stated that my family lives paycheck to paycheck. That's not being dramatic, that's a reality many families live in, in case you didn't know. What I replied to in an aggressive Manor was to someone who called people who don't pay for in-game stuff leeches and lowlife's. Yeah, you read that right. All I said was that if you don't spend money in-game, that doesn't make you a leech and a lowlife. So is that what you think too? 

You quoted me on things I NEVER said. I never said "don't spend a single dollar on this game" or anything along those lines. I said that just because I CAN'T spend any money on the game, that doesn't make me a LEECH or a LOWLIFE. Which is what the guy I replied to was calling people who don't spend money in a game. How did you misinterpret my message that badly? If you're going to attempt to quote someone, maybe provide a screenshot of their message? That way, you won't get it atrociously wrong.

A legendary item could be anything from a weapon skin, legend skin, legend banner, legend finisher or legend crafting materials. If you truly don't have any of those then that sucks. Apparently RNGesus watches over me and he has blessed me with the odds.

But careful what you wish for. I'd rather have no legendary item than a legendary mozambique. 🙂

No bashing at all just stating facts if money is that tight you should have your priorities in line and obviously you don’t unless you are at the library using the internet but that is just my opinion but we see things differently in my eyes tv internet cell phone all of that is a want not a need and if money was tight I would sell everything but that is the difference between me and you and keep getting up on a pedestal and preaching on how I bash you when you should be spending your time bettering you self and in my eyes you look like an a’’ for putting yourself and the people that care about you through that lifestyle while you sit back and play video games and cry on forums how you can’t afford to spend any money on a video game

My parents require me to have a phone, they need to be able to reach me at all times. The internet is necessary for both my sister and my school work, we don't have cable, so again with the assumptions. I'm 15, so how do you expect me to help my parents with the bills? I'm in school so that in the future, I can change my family's circumstances. That's how i'm trying to better myself. Also, once again, I'm NOT complaining about not being able to spend money on a game, I can't nore do I care for it. My whole point from my original post, was that you shouldn't call people who can't afford trivial purchases on a game leeches and lowlifes. How am I a leech and a lowlife? Because i can't afford in-game purchases? That's what my whole post was about. You said you were stating facts right? Like how you assumed we bought the PS4? Like how you assumed we have cable? Please state more "facts" disguised as assumptions. I honestly don't think you even read my post. I don't know how you keep misinterpreting it. It's not that hard to understand.

Yep, im level 84 have only 1 legendary and thats on a MOZAMBIQUE, RNG isnt on my side
