Sorry, but it was EA's money, not "the Public's". You bought something from them, therefore it is THEIR money to do with as they please. If you don't like their products, sure, feel free to leave, that is your right....but to be upset at the way they are spending their money, is foolish and entitled. I don't sit around complaining you spend your money that you earn on XXX item, EA doesn't tell you, that you have to spend your money on XXX item or you will be in trouble....only Governments can do that....

Either EA is poor and games are expensive to make and we need loot boxes to make ends meet.

Yes it can spend its money however it wants but it has to stop pulling the woe is me card if it wants to do it.
