    please give me the following info:
    1: Verify MS/Ping to the server in game or here: https://gameserverping.com/apex
    2: Internet speed
    3: What OS / Build do you run?
    4: All drivers updated?
    5: Any 3rd party software running like Anti-virus, discord etc?
    6: do you or any other member in the household watch youtube, streams or downloading while playing?
    7: Have you tried to repair the game or clear game cache, Read this to know how: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
    8: Have you tried using a public DNS to see if this resolve the issue?

  • I have to say i love this game a lot but i cant tell if the problem is me or the servers. I have a well decent amount of ping for me around 200 thats what i game on at a daily. But all of a sudden from yesterday onwards i keep on getting huge amounts of packet loss around 50-90 and it doesnt go away. I tried to join other servers but they are even worse. The problem is its only apex, i went to play online on other games like minecraft and it worked perfectly fine no lag no packet loss. PLEASE HELP ME!

    @Crzptic 200 ms is high and may be the reason
    But you could try to flush your DNS:
    Open CMD (Admin) and type in;
    “ipconfig /flushdns” (without the quotes).
    press enter.
    Have you tried to use a public DNS?
  • @EzyHawk i just recently flushed my dns and it still has the same problem. It is 100% not my ping that is the problem cuz i play with that all the time with no problems. The problem is my packet loss, i used to get 0% and all of a sudden spikes to 70%+. And just as i mentioned if it was the ping i would be lagging in other games as well while at the moment im only lagging in apex no other game. oh also i don't know what a public dns is and how to use one. Help would be appreciated :D

    @Crzptic Your other game might have a closer server.

    High ping/ms can result in package loss.

    however try to

    --------------------------------------------
    1. Do you have any third party softwares running (Anivirus, discord, firewall etc)?

    > 1.1 Antivirus - Try to whitlist the game in your antivirus software and see if this helps.

    >> 1.2 Discord - Discord overlay and hardware acceleration since they can cause an issue.

    >>> 1.3 Firewall - Allow connections through the firewall

    --------------------------------------------
    2. Run CCleaner and Malwarebytes and see if the result may help your situation.
    --------------------------------------------
    3. Use a cable instead of Wifi
    --------------------------------------------
    4. Changing to public DNS:

    Change IPv4 DNS:

    • Open the Control Panel from the Start menu
    • Click Network and sharing Center
    • Click Change adapter settings
    • Right click on your active network adapter & choose properties
    • Choose Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click properties
    • Enter the new DNS servers into the boxes under “Use one of the following DNS server addresses”

    Google:

    The Google Public DNS IP addresses (IPv4) are as follows:

    • Primary: 8.8.8.8
    • Secondary: 8.8.4.4

    Cloudflare:

    The Cloudflare Public DNS (IPv4) adresses are as follows:

    • Primary: 1.1.1.1
    • Secondary: 1.0.0.1

    Change IPv6 DNS:

    • Open the Control Panel from the Start menu
    • Click Network and sharing Center
    • Click Change adapter settings
    • Right click on your active network adapter & choose properties
    • Go now to Internet Protocol Version 6.
    • Click Properties
    • Click Use The Following DNS Server Addresses.
    • Remove any IP addresses that may be already listed and add one of the following

    The Google Public DNS (IPv6) addresses are as follows:

    • Primary: 2001:4860:4860::8888
    • Secondary: 2001:4860:4860::8844

    The Cloudflare Public DNS (IPv6) adresses are as follows:

    • Primary: 2606:4700:4700::1111
    • Secondary: 2606:4700:4700::1001
  • doesnt help. I have tried everything, from reinstallation to buying a new router. I have changed dns settings, flushed dns, etc. nothing seems to work. PLease help.
