Is it me or are shotguns horrible in hip fire?

Mastiff is pretty bad hip-fire, but since PK got moved to care package the EVA has had more time to shine. It's really good hipfire with a nice consistent spread, and really easy to abuse corner peeking with. 

Hipfiring with guns is never the best option in apex, but yes, the hipfire is pretty bad unless you are in a couple of meters of an enemy.
The mastiff is really bad in hip firing the mozzy and eva-8 are fine for a couple of meters but still lack on longer rang what normal for shotguns.?

The Mastiff was never made for hip fire. It's spread tightens when you ADS which was partly what made it so devastating, even at range.

The mozambique however is one of the few weapons in this game you can accurately hipfire, the patterns tight and perfectly shaped for a shoulder/headshot shell placement.

You're probably just experiencing the NoReg bs that's rife at the moment, it's harder to notice with shotguns due to the multiple hits per shot.

@Koochi-Q  That was my point lol, any shotgun is gonna hurt if you eat a shell point blank. Hence why the mastiff is not OP in that regard....it's literally the damage consistency that makes the difference between the post patch mastiff and pre patch peacekeeper. 😛
