Re: The triple take needs a nerf

@Bean2kay9 Blasphemy! Honestly I think the TT is in a good place. You can still out shoot one with various guns. It's damage fire rate and everything else seems to be about spot on. I've out shot TT players with a Hemlock and even a G7 with double tap.

@DarthValtrex you really can't win with the newbies huh. Sniper rifles have been gutter trash dog crap garbage for FOUR SEASONS, Triple Take having it the worst because you needed a hop-up for it AND it was still slow as heck.

Season 6 has been out for 10 days, 10 DAYS THE TRIPLE TAKE IS GOOD, and here we are. "NeRF TrIPLe TaKE" Did the same thing with the Havoc, same crap different weapon.

@pastaclownThe havoc is still a good gun if you can control the recoil and have a turbo. If I find a turbo I pick it up until I find a Devo. Devo is end all be all IMO.

I won’t call the OP a noob. They are likely just getting killed by the TT more frequently now that it’s a competitive gun. The previous seasons it was rare for people to use it for different reasons. You had to be highly accurate with it previous seasons.

But right now the TT does not seem OP to me. It’s not like the PK was when it was OP. You can still beat a TT player if you don’t have one. If they are out sniping you, turn it into a CQC. Most players still can’t land 2 consecutive headshots, especially if you have solid movement.

@hayhor Those walls have got me killed so many time. Lol, oh it’s just a wall, I can still shoot em! wait no they have a massive advantage behind that wall. And if you put a gibi behind that wall that’s a whole lot of you win.

@DarthValtrex Havoc is still good yeah, but remember when all you had to do was pull down? That poor boy was top tier for like a month and then all the newbies came outta the woodwork yellin' and screamin' "Oh my god the Havoc is so OP yada yada yada"

I just don't understand how people can say, "Oh this weapon is OP it needs to be nerfed" and then turn around and go, "Why is the meta so boring it's always just Wingman, PK, R99 all the time."

You're right though, I shouldn't be calling people newbies cause they want something nerfed. That's on me. Sorry.

@pastaclown I felt like the havoc just did not require skill, it was way too easy to control the recoil and have laser accuracy for the devastating headshots. I was seeing mid tier players pick up a havoc and mow down a pre-made pred squad like nothing with it. When a gun can close such a large skill gap it's OP. I don't mind some gun being stronger then others. But it shouldn't be so strong that it allows a mediocre player, to mow down 2-3 higher skill players.

The stronger gun should be just enough to give one player a minimal advantage. But not so much that other players can't beat it with really high skill plays. Not so much that it allows laziness on the part of gamer who has the OP gun.

Right now I do not see that in the TT at all. The havoc can still mow people down if you get the recoil pattern down. But ya it was fun when it was OP, so long as you were the one who had it.

@DarthValtrex eh? Was it really that good? Back then people rarely picked it up in my lobbies, I was always short on energy ammo. My best memory was when I downed 3 people with a single mag without Turbo with continuous fire, but I had ended up pulling my mouse down off my mousepad and ended up near the edge of my desk. I always thought if they were going to nerf it they'd increase the per-shot vertical recoil rather than what they did with it now.

No argument on TT, TT isn't overpowered and shouldn't be nerfed.

TT is good for short range (act like shotgun) and medium (act like sniper) but bad on long range (too slow) .

TT is in good place, no need to do anything.

@DarthValtrex I think you hit the nail on its head tbh. TT is in a good place and I think the inspiration behind the OP probably stems from a lot of deaths from it. I don't even think I've been seeing them too often either.
