Yeah, you will receive the rewards for the highest rank earned during a season. Splits were implemented midway through the game’s current lifespan to allow the map used for the rank mode to cycle more frequently. Each season’s rewards are doled out on the first login after a new season has launched. You should then possess the time-limited rewards for the entirety of the next season. (In your case this will be S8: MAYHEM)
