Re: Multiple AFK/Leaving Teammate Games In A Row

@JonStriker126 ... So you’re telling me that that isn’t how the game is supposed to be played? Fending off multiple teams or ppl on your own while you have no idea where your teammates are...

No wonder the experience was so daunting for me at most times XD

All solo queuers understand your pain

  • @Koochi-Q I really wish I had a microphone to communicate with these troglodytes because honestly, it feels like if I don't SAY something, they're just going to sit there and do nothing. On the downside, I'd probably already be banned from Apex due to toxicity.

90% of the randoms I play with are brain-dead, useless, no aim, no skill, no strategic positioning, no movement, no comms, no volume, no reading skills, no reading comprehension, slow as all heck, no critical thought, can't perform under any pressure of any sort, garbage, run off on your own and die, completely inane unthinking worm riddled inbred donkeys. Can you tell I'm frustrated and salty? Please note the next section is not constructive AT ALL.

Today, I played for 3 hours. 2 hours in the afternoon for my dailies and then some to hit a 54k EXP level, and 1 hour just now, cause why not. I'll just go ahead and list some of the garbage I got.

-Lifeline who ran off on their own not listening to pings to go loot a hot area, starts taking shots, starts running back to us, me and Octane start running to her the MOMENT we hear they're taking fire, Lifeline dies, and then tries to blame us, saying we were close enough to respond we just didn't. In-game distance from them to us? 500 meters AT THE MOMENT we heard they were taking fire. Says, and I quote, "I wasn't taking fire" as they sat there waiting for us to recover their banner. Responded with, and I quote, "You weren't taking fire? How'd you die then? You die of natural causes?"

-Level 414 Lifeline player, 1.8k kills, slowest player I've had all day. I'm constantly looking at the minimap, and they're CONSTANTLY lagging behind. We're looting houses when I ping to go third party someone. "Moving this way" "Enemy Spotted" "Attacking here". I go down after knocking someone and cracking shields on another. I look at the minimap. BOTH my teammates had JUST joined the fight while I had been fighting for about a minute thus far. I call them out, ask why in the seven blazing underworlds they're lagging so far behind. "You ran off on your own"

-Level 500 Lifeline. We engage a team 100 meters away from us, and I unfortunately go down from a Longbow headshot. They decide to dance on by downed body instead of reviving me. 3 seconds later, they get pushed, and panic revive me. They go down. "My bad I'm sorry". Yo if you're here on the boards (you know who you are) it's a travesty you've played that long to hit level 500 and yet you don't understand the importance of quickly and safely getting up teammates, especially with new TTK changes.

-Wraith player who thinks it's an amazing idea to start AND STICK a revive in a hot zone with no cover while our Lifeline is quite literally standing on top of me. Hope you won that game! Cause I sure as heck aren't going to stick around and see if you've got more than 2 neurons to zap together in order to aim well.

-TTV Bangalore who's AFK for drop, miraculously doesn't die, comes back while we're fighting a squad and shows up JUST in time to loot. Literally spam clicks a box and grabs everything in it. We catch a squad out rotating from the ring, and are subsequently caught in it. They die to zone, and Rampart and I are killed by enemies who are "strategically positioned" on open flatland (flower fields) not using cover at all despite hearing and seeing sniper shots while we try to rotate to a better position. "Reward strategic positioning" my behind, more like rewarding whoever breaks shields first.

-TTV Bangalore (different one) who did quite LITERALLY nothing for 3 squads, and yet had the nicest loot. Total damage? 67. Downed every fight.

-Level 500 Lifeline with some Mirage dude. Lifeline and I armed with Snipers. We hot drop Refinery, no one is with us. I rotate to Epicenter and ping there are enemies, I wait for my team to be near in order to go fight. I engage, see what I said there, I ENGAGE, and knock two opponents while Lifeline sits on the upper Epicenter platform accessible by zipline seeing literally no one, and Mirage sits on a cliffside "sniping" with whatever NON sniper rifle they've got. I go down after downing 2, Lifeline is STILL SITTING ON THE UPPER PLATFORM, Mirage has just jumped down to come revive me. Lifeline jumps down, gets downed instantly, Mirage revives me while the enemy Wattson literally sits on top of us watching. We win that fight, and eventually rotate to Fragment West where we hold a building and poke at enemies rotating from zone. The enemy gets third partied and wins, they're weak and low, I drop down from the building we're sitting on to go kill them. I crack shields twice before needing to fall back and heal. I heal fully, I go back in, knock two, then get knocked as the enemy Bloodhound revives their Lifeline and kills me. Where's my team? ON TOP OF THE BUILDING. STILL. NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE THE ENEMY AT ALL, BUT HAVING FULL VIEW OF ME TRYING TO 1V3. After I die I call them out on it super pissed off.

-Octane player sits on top of a building of Lava Fissure, asks in voice comms if we're fighting while they're healing up. They stop paying attention to their surroundings, get shot in the behind and die, turns around and calls us garbage. It ain't my fault you dunno what you're doing, or why you think healing on top of an exposed rooftop is a good idea, or that you think you need our permission to go fight, we're LITERALLY ON THE PLATFORM TO YOUR LEFT JUST START SHOOTING.

That's not even going into how many times my teammates will get caught out of cover and die losing the engagement fully, or the teammates who are just AFK for the drop then moan about not having loot, or the people who run off on their own and die and leave immediately, or the people who don't pay attention to any comms then wonder why they're alone, or the TTV players who think they're holier than God and everything they do is right, or the teammates who just have no idea what's going on at any moment of any time in any universe in any form, or the people who loot super slowly and stand still while looting get shot and die, or the people who think it's perfectly acceptable to make a truck load of noise for no reason shooting at crap they shouldn't be shooting at (no you don't need that loot tick WE HAVE FULL PURPLE GEAR), or the people who do nothing but blame teammates for everything that goes wrong despite not having an ounce of skill at all, and the list goes on and on and on and on.

Can I just get solos? What I gotta do for that? Who's baby I gotta sacrifice? How MANY babies I gotta sacrifice?

Wait you’re typing everything out? XD buy a cheap mic so you can let the frustration out. Typing takes too long. They need to feel the anger!

That’s classic behavior as far as I see it unfortunately. I cant tell you how many times I’ve gotten such teammates. On xbox at least where I play tho they dont blame you for their deaths. They usually just D/C right away. Spanish ppl say the female reproductive organ in their native language along with some other stuff sometimes. French ppl question what just happend and british are the chillest ragers usually just saying “what’s that *” or “how? HOW?!” XD. Really funny.

Stories like yours is exactly why I made this thread!: https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/S6-teammates/m-p/9423792#M102518 post them there so others can also laugh and post
