My friends instantly told me my mic was better. I also hear sounds I didnt used to hear with a cheaper set. One thing to note- on console the dial thing only changes the overall sound. It doesnt change chat vs game sound.
I have a friend with the arctis 7. Those actually have a digital mixer you can adjust things at. They were on a huge sale during Prime day so maybe they will be again on black friday.
Oh and I use the usb to plug in.
