Extra mouse buttons no longer work

I just experienced this issue tonight, where my mouse buttons 6-9 on my Logitech G300s no longer work. They have been working in this game prior to this for the better part of two years. If it helps, I am using the older Logitech Gaming Software, not the newer Logitech G Hub. The new software does not detect my mouse, no matter what I try.

Because Apex doesn't recognize these mouse buttons by default, I had to map them through the Logitech software to keyboard characters like backspace, =, -, etc... Now, suddenly these keys on the keyboard still work but not through my mouse.

Is this some new developer patch to try to remove an exploit (like the controller aim assist hack) and it inadvertently blocks all mouse software, too?

If so, that is unfortunate because I can no longer play the game. I need to use the mouse in this way due to my disability.
