@l_mRGogoI think it would be cool for them to combine some points, and do somewhat of a throwback season. Not sure if that would be the best term for it.
I would love it if they took a break for a season, as mentioned, but also lump in the "past BP available?" situation, and maybe do a season that doesn't have a new map or legend, or even BP. They could do without a "new" BP for the season, and offer players the option to purchase 1 previous season's BP (of their choice), and allow them to progress through that one during the season. They would make plenty of money doing this, so it would fit into the "need money" scenario for a big company.
I agree with you on the legend selection screen, 100%! It already seems really crowded compared to launch. Variety is awesome, but some of the legends will inevitably be left behind. I'm not sure they could get away with "vaulting" legends, considering people have spent cash on skins. Not sure how they would even begin to approach that issue. Although, I feel like I saw something recently, talking about Respawn adding Arena-specific legends in the future? It could have been a dream or something, but it sounds familiar. Maybe that will help declutter the selection screen, to an extent.
