I think close and mid the rampage is fine, but It should take a damage reduction on long range, because that is where its disgusting in the hands of the right people and trumps the use of the scout rifle really. Perhaps a damage fade over 100 meters or something, that would make it more balanced compared to other weapons, the precision on the weapon is a bit to high to validate no damage drop. Also perhaps a precision nerf when charged. So the spread is bigger and recoil harsher, that would give it the good power close range but not give it OPness at range. In general very little is needed for the weapon to be stellar (outside of fixing the freeking bugs on it)

    @Zkepz The gun is meant to be used at range for suppression so a bullet nerf over 100 meters doesn't really make sense to me. They need to make it harder to control. That would help a lot, tho for me the issue is close range charged. You won't beat that gun with an r99 or prowler and that doesn't make sense to me.
  • @hayhor I would have to agree. I feel like it isn't OP as a mid-long range suppressive fire weapon. Any nerf, should be to reduce its CQC effectiveness, especially when charged. Slight recoil increase at all ranges would be nice, imo, like you mentioned. Maybe mix up the recoil pattern itself? I haven't seen or tested the actual pattern, but it is by far, the easiest gun to control automatic fire with, personally.

    Yes, let's nerf it so people can complain about the next gun, and then that will get nerfed, and so on...

    Until we look like Destiny 2 PvP, where only hand cannons and shotguns are allowed.

    Or, how about no, and we learn that this game has MULTIPLE engagement ranges, and charging across an open field without cover gets you killed, like would actually happen with real guns.

    If ANYTHING, the LMG damage in this game is unrealistically low.

    Hands down r99/volt close range with proper strafing you are not gona win that fight with a charged rampage without some godly luck, its hipfilre is not good enough. If you're surprised however its something else.

  • Ofcourse, try do proper strafing with an LMG hehe. SMG, Pistol or Shotty with proper strafing is insanely hard to hit. But their damage potential up close is devastating. When I meet a strafe god like for instance Shulkn I start wondering if I got lag hits because my hitmarker percentage drops hard, and with the Rampage those are particulary hard to land bullets on because of the slow RPM.

    @Zkepz I always enjoy when my bullet timing is almost perfectly in sync with my opponents strafe. 🤣
