Re: Next gen update HDR too bright

I've messed around with all HDR settings on my TV, settings for the xbox, and settings within the game. It doesn't seem to make much of a difference.

Yeah, when adjusting the brightness within the game settings, the left apex logo is still highly visible when the brightness is cranked down to the max. It is supposed to be lost in darkness.

Also, it is so bright, all items in my inventory show up as black counters rather than white. I.e. 4 shield cells should show 4 white bars underneath but instead they are 4 black bars.

@EA_Darko will there be a patch to fix this issue? Or a way to go back to the old version of the game? The upgrade has been a downgrade and I know I'm not the only one experiencing it.

I noticed a change, but it still looks bad. It definitely doesnt look like a next gen spectacle. It's not bright anymore; matter of fact all of the colors are too dark....and all of the items in my inventory are black. Its not me; I didn't change anything. The game updated and this all happened. It was great before.

Same for me. The game looks really washed out on my Xbox series x. It’s not the tv either because all my other hdr games don’t do this. Only Apex. I haven’t been playing because of this. Hope you guys can fix this in the new event update tomorrow.
