@OldTreeCreeper This looks like in storm point map, i don't know the POI name but it's the one after the hills with big slides and there is a big door where people usually drop.

Okay, I was just there in a no-fill to check it all out. It is NOT the room inside the wall, although it's a duplicate: it's the same room as you find at the TOP of command center - the room where the man canon is. The wall room has nothing on the screens. Command center does.

But now the funny/not-so-funny story. First match was to drop on the wall, but it was right under the beginning of the drop line so I dropped just off to the side where no one ever goes so I could wait out all the hot droppers. Turns out one fellow solo guy was landing in the place I wanted to go so I dropped onto a nearby cliff top to watch. He disappeared behind a rock, came back out where I could see him, used his node finder, and then quit. First: shame on you Respawn for introducing a gadget that encourages people to do something other than play the game. Second: I noticed his death box was gold, which seemed strange given that he had no time to loot anything. NO TIME WHATSOEVER. So I jumped down the cliff and took a look. Level three shield and a prowler which was purple across the board except for the digital threat scope. So at this point I said to myself, WTF. There was only one structure even relatively close, which I didn't see him go into, which there was no time for him to have gone into, and which I now went into. All doors closed, and plenty of low grade loot exactly where it should have been.

The only conclusion I can reach is that this guy DROPPED WITH LEVEL THREE KIT. Look guys! I discovered a whole new cheat!!! If anyone can come up with an explanation I would sure love to hear it. It would certainly explain the willingness of so many players to hot drop - knowing that they couldn't lose.

@reconzero if it was on PC then nothing surprises me.

@reconzero Did he have trails while dropping? Because sometimes I land where no one has landed and get erased by fully kitted players.

That room looks like the bar where the whole story started back in 2019?

many people just play no fill duo/trios land somewhere, do the node tracker and leave to collect the points for the node tracker store. u can collect the points 5 times a day.

I just did a no-fill so I could give it a try for myself, and you're absolutely right. I got a level 3 shield and a kitted p2020. Thanks Respawn. Thanks for throwing away gameplay for whatever it is you get out of giving people free stuff in the event store. Well played. Stupid node finder garbage. Grumpy rant over.
