Re: New 'Upgraded' Boost Kit Renders Ballistic's Sling Weapon Useless

@Midnight9746 I thought that too but when I first noticed it I had a Flatline in the sling and even though I upgraded my level/armour to blue, the Flatline in the sling remained without any kind of scope.

    @FuseDLuffy Yeah, that is weird as it should of leveled up the gun.

    I don't play as Ballistic as much, so does he normally get upgraded optics without the "Upgraded" Rift Relic? I know when he uses his Ultimate, the sling weapon gets maxed attachments, (including its scope), but I don't remember if his other weapons level up with the scope as well.

    @Midnight9746 Any weapon in the sling becomes a white tier weapon with a 1x scope aside from sniper rifles which get a x2 scope. Once the Sling Shot perk is activated the tier of the weapon matches the tier of Ballistic’s armour aside from red.

    When the Ult is activated the sling weapon becomes a gold tier weapon.

    After a few more games it appears this is only an issue if you equip it before Ballistic levels up.

    If you equip it before Ballistic levels up the first time, then the sling weapon will never evolve beyond a 'zero tier' weapon (i.e. ground loot).

    If you equip it after Ballistic levels up the first time, then the sling weapon will level up as normal.

    Maddeningly, if you equip it before Ballistic levels up and then subsequently Ballistic levels up, if you unequip it and then re-equip it, everything works as normal!

    Makes Ballistic even more awkward to play!

    Also, the notifications you get on the right-hand side of the screen are just random - while playing Ballistic I somehow got one for a Lifeline perk!
