Re: Apex Cross progression popped up but my account wasnt linked

Hey sorry to interfere, i have a question I’m really confused. My apex account on my switch is Linked on my EA account, aswell as my PlayStation. However they all differ in email names, they are not all the same. So i decided to change my EA email to match my PlayStation email, is that okay? Will i still be eligible for cross progession? Is there anybody who can check my account and let me know if i will be viable or not, since I bought the ps5 just for this and if not then i can still return it. I know we have to wait and that’s completely fine, but i just want to know if im eligible in the first place. Thank you mako. @EA_Mako

Hey @RimonisTrash,

It doesn't matter which email addresses are used for your various Switch or PlayStation accounts themselves.

You'll just need to make sure those accounts are linked to the same EA account.

You can check your connections on this account page to make sure your other platforms are linked to the same account: Customer Portal (ea.com)

Changing the email itself is perfectly fine as long as you're not unlinking accounts.

At that point you'd just need to wait for the in-game notification to let you know your account has been merged, correct!

@EA_Mako The EA account I use for Apex Legends on my PC wasn't linked to my PSN account. I didn't realize this and only linked my PSN account to this after the cross progression announcement. Specifically today on November 22nd. Am I still eligible for Cross Progression? Also the PSN email I have is different to my Apex PC EA account. Is that still fine?
