I recently bought an Xbox Ultimate subscription and I'm trying to install crysis 3 but immediately after clicking install I get an error message saying: "Unable to install. There was a slight hiccup and we couldn't finish installing Crysis 3. Restart your PC and try again.". I've restarted my pc multiple times and reinstalled EA desktop and I'm still getting the same error. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

*UPDATING THREAD* 3/9/22Per a solution from another user in this post: Hello! My issue was fixed during a live support chat. They asked me to try downloading a free to play game. Just download any free game on EA dekstop app (like apex legends), then cancel download and try installing other games. It fixed my problem! Hope it helps. Hey, everyone.If you're unable to install the game can you try adjusting your UAC setting to a less restrictive setting to see if that helps? it really pisses me off. I have the same issue. this. I cant even install some game like a way out, nfs payback etc. it says unavailable in your region. NFS heat is available but nfs payback isnt. LOL wtf

Summarize your bug I cant download some games like a way out and nfs payback etc because of "unavailable in your region" error but steam ea play owners can download those games in my region. its really weird bug. I dont know if it will work for you but my game started downloading when I cleared ea desktop cashe. You can do it by using EA App Recovery. Ihope it works for you

@urufusaruku this. this is increasingly irritating due to us having to pay a subscription to something that promotes games to play, but we cannot play the game. To me, if the product remains unplayable for too long it would fall under scam territory

I am trying to install Battlefield V and I get this error every time. "There was a slight hiccup and we couldn’t finish installing Game Name Unavailable. Restart your PC and try again." I have tried messing with admin privileges, reinstalls, different folder destinations, App Cache clearing. Nothing works. Other games seem to be working fine. I also have the Xbox subscription.

I am getting this as well. I tried clearing EA Destop cache, reinstalling EA desktop several times.
This issue popped up while trying to install titanfall 2 from Steam which installed origin and created conflict with EA desktop.
