EA FC 24 player can’t recover stamina

Question

In manager mode, I manage Manchester United. In the first off season &nbsp;I’m managing Portugal for the European competition and the two players from my Manchester team, Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot can’t recover stamina during the European competition meaning I’ve lost one of my best players for the competition in Fernandes. This is extremely frustrating.&nbsp;

Spent almost all of my transfer budget on one player. His stamina refuses to regenerate no matter how much rest and full recovery set. Breaks my game. How many bugs can they possibly fit in one game?
