Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation problem

I'm having trouble getting my game to even run. I can get the launcher to start but when I click the button to play and the screen goes black like it's kind of trying to load but then it quickly exits out and says exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. I tried changing my DEP settings, and I tried going in and changing settings through right clicking on the desktop icon and changing the properties. I don't know what else to do to fix this problem.
