Sims 3 Crashes when starting a new game

Hello 🙂 Whenever I try to start a new game using a custom content world, it loads about 1/5 of the way and then crashes to my desktop. I have the most recent software update, I have tried deleting caches and renaming the SIms 3 file. I don't know what the cause of the problem is. No matter what CC world I use, it crashes, but when I use Sunset Valley, it works. I'm not much of a techie but please help 🙂
