Sims 3 mac compatibility help

Im thinking of purchasing the Sims 3 Starter Pack (instore) and Ive checked online for the requirements etc but Im not much of a tech whizz so Im a bit confused, especially regarding the graphics card as Iv seen alot of mixed comments. I want to know if it will run fine on my macbook pro? (13" late 2011)

2.4GHz Intel core i5 processor
10GB memory
intel HD graphics 3000 512mb
running mac os x 10.9.4
