trying to follow your request above, submitted report and I have an Error ID Number to use

It looks as though I need to start a CASE to upload dxdiag, etc but how? I can see the link to create a case but all I get is help topics

currently installing the latest patch via steam, posts here don't really let my hopes get high, let's see.

WIN10 / EA app / WRC24 2.1.5

still same problem, conflict with Windows Update KB5045594, game crashes to desktop at launch,

uninstalling KB5045594 and everything works perfectly.

Even after today's update to the game, it crashes on launch. Before the update, it merely reached the EA Sports intro and then crashed. (STEAM, WIN10)

Confirming uninstalling Windows Update KB5045594 solves the issue. Hope you can identify the culprit soon.

same issue on windows 11 with the latest update...

Honnestly, since the beginning this game is a joke...

still crashes, windows 11, via steam, has been crashing since the Anticheat came out.

steam on c:drive, game on d:drive and no chance of moving it to c:

haven't tried any of the workarounds, it's the company's job to fix it, game ran fine since day1, they broke it, their call.

still really really mad, even after three months ...

I have deleted the KB referenced in this thread, which fixed the issue with patch 2.1.0, but with the latest patch 2.1.5 breaks the game again. Can't launch in VR or Flat Screen!

As crazy as it sounds, after trying everything, renaming the OpenXR folder within the ThirdParty folder in the game’s Engine subdirectory did the trick. 

I mean, the game started, but I cannot get VR to start.

I bought the game last Sunday. I didn't know about the bug.

EA new about this 4 weeks now. They should had remove it from sales. 

I want refund or at least to give me license to Dirt Rally 2.0.

I want to play on my new track racer and new PC ...

i've just bought the game on steam and can't launch it because of the anticheat. Basically launch the game, go to eaac splashscreen and then it close without launching anything

win10 - steam

game installed on e:/ drive but changing it doesnt solve anything

same issue on F124//BF1 and every game having the stupid EAAC

is there any fix or i've to refund this aswell?

Hi could you please give a status about how it is managed, when do you expect to fix the issue ?

Could you prepare a real gift for our patience... I bought this game at the early beginning and don't even have enough fingers to count the big issues we encounter...

That's insane ! What a poor software management !

Every release is some gigabytes to download that's not an eco friendly manner of delivering updates.

Please DO SOMETHING FAST and RELIABLE

Hey there,

The team is investigating the issue and I have sent all the details players have shared on this thread. Unfortunately, I don't have an ETA on when this will be solved, but I will keep you posted and I will update the thread as soon as I have more information.

I don't understand anything anymore! After this error at startup (somehow it was solved), when I started playing, the game started to freeze and close. (regardless of the settings and regardless of the stages). I tried both low and high settings and it still freezes. I tried to play Monte Carlo and Poland and Japan and the game freezes and closes.
It's a total disappointment with this 2024 pack. Before it, everything was working fine.
I play it on the EA app.

I have not be able to play this game since July when this anti cheat update came out.
this is PATHETIC. None of the fixes in any of these threads work and you keep closing threads saying "Issue has been fixed" when it clearly hasn't.
extremely pissed off and you guys release a PAID DLC while this issue is going on for months...

The only thing they can do quickly is delete the comments on this forum and that`s it.
Peoples buy the game for money and cant get in, but no one can find the problem for almost a month now. Funny.

I finally requested a refund from Steam.
EA's behavior is unacceptable, you are making fun of the players! You prove to us that the acquisition of Codemasters was a mistake, they did a better job without you!
Also, you made fun of us with VR. At the time when the game was starting well, I tried it with my G2 reverb: it was absolutely unusable!
I'm going back to DIRT 2.0, it, at least, is a successful and PLAYABLE game!
