Re: Penalty for leaving matches frequently

The penalty they get is that they receive 0 xp from the game. Btw you can leave also if you feel you got screwed from your teamates leaving. Personally if they change the system i will quit the game. Same will happen with a lot of streamers. Just today moonmoon was streaming and the last hour of his stream was being paired with horrbile teamates that dropped him on horrible location and thus was dieing (imagine how great it must feel for 17k streamer to die for 1 * hour non stop due to terrible teamates that have 0 clue what they are doing and do not want to reliquinsh jumpmaster to a person with triple digits kills.) and was stream sniped as well.

So no friend, i want to be able to leave whenever i want and find a new game. No reason to lose my sanity over some randoms that consider fun dropping us late in a squad infested area with no chance of getting loot.

    Forgive me if it seems a bit aggressive, but seeing your answer I do not know if you're trolling or just being stupid. I am disgusted with people who think like you and are terrified at the same time, that the smarter is definitely less.

    You have no right to force anyone to play if he does not want to and punish him for not doing it. It does not make any sense or purpose. Maybe except for bringing satisfaction to mentally ill people with inferiority complex.

    1. If someone incurs a time penalty, they will simply make a new account because the game is free.

    2. The system will never be able to distinguish the deliberate quit of the game from accidental disconnect, so in the final analysis only those who depend on the game and want to play on one account, and not on several, will be punished.

    3. In the current state, Apex Legends should have two game modes, including one that allows solo play, and it would solve the problem in a very simple way. At the moment we are forced to play team, because there is no other option, which is idiotic, because the game is not competitive and team play is not a necessity.

    4. It's okay to leave people from the game, so punishing them for that would only be an expression of the sick need to get angry and nothing more. CS: GO and the votekick option clearly proved that if players have such an opportunity, they will use it only to torment others, not according to its purpose. Therefore, all such inventions, such as votekick and penalties for abandoning the match are unacceptable, because in the end they harm only normal people. Trolls and halls do not care about it at all, but they are very happy about other people's misfortune.

    @preyandplay I think you’re misunderstanding what I mean by time penelty. I’m talking about 2-3 minutes to at least count for bleeding out + banner timer. Do you think people will make a new account just for that? Sounds crazy.
    Why do people always feel the need to insult anyone on these type of forums. Chill out!

    I’m not forcing anyone to play. But I mean the game is 100% focused around team play so why are you playing if you’re not into that?
    I always try and be the best teammate possible - pinging landing locations, enemies, better gear and what not. Rushing towards them if I hear gunshots. But some players just leaves the second they’re downed no matter how good a teammate you are. They are just selfish, toxic people. Play a different game!
    All I’m sayin is why would people like that quit before the banner timer runs out if they have to wait just as long in the lobby? But yeah maybe it’s not possible to do something like this properly - it’s just a thought.
    Maybe a solo mode is what the game need. But I think a lot needs to be tweaked for that to work and be successful.

    If you think that sounds crazy, you had to be a very young person and have no idea how crazy and ridiculous things people can do. Which is so weird because you just need to turn on youtube to find out.

    Oh, yes!Another random pretend to be a helpful, nice, kind semi-pro player. Lovely! And in reality he is a toxic little kid and contradicts himself in every second sentence.
    If they paid me every time it happens, I would have been a millionaire for a long time.

    One more time: You have no right to decide how people should play.

    Surely this game needs a solo mode, but it definitely does not need toxic dictators of your kind, who would like to punish everyone for everything and deny any idea.
    There have already been voices saying that the solo mode would be nice, but people of your kind deny it using the same argument as you do not need it, because Apex is focused around team play. And this is the problem. Apex Legends is not a competitive game, but it forces players to play a team game with randomly selected people. It is stupid and does not make any sense.

    @preyandplay I’m sorry man I just don’t get what your trying to say or what your point is.

    You’re saying that players who get a 2-3 min cue time delay will start to make a new account to cue up faster?

    I’m not pretending to be anything, I just really like the game and get annoyed by people leaving early. It seems I’m not the only one. And what ideas am I denying?

    I’m 34 btw. English is not my native language so maybe you get the wrong idea in your head because of that.

    How am I being toxic? This is general feedback. They can ignore it as much as they want. I’m just loving the game and want to love it even more.

    Am I wrong thinking the game is team play oriented?

    You don’t seem to like this game at all so why are you in this forum insulting people?
