Why you bashing on pros being pro? You think they see you and instantly come to you, start hugging you and give you free kill just because you are noob?? This is BR, get good by playing against pros, you wont learn anything from playing against noobs.Ya, like i would of kept playing basketball if I had to play against Michael Jordan completely thrashing me and calling me a noob everday. Like I could realistically expect to even ever compete with him at his level. Would I get better? sure. Would it be fun? hell no. 99% of us never will compete at a pro level cause we are limited by the abilities God gave us. And it would be selfish to tell me I can't play with others, without some "pro" player feeling self entitled to rain on our parade.
Nobody owes the pro player nothing, ESPECIALLY the developers. They are a small minority and the avg player is who developers should be concerning themselves with. Every game developer makes the mistake of letting these "pro" players influence development. And then alienate 99% of their playerbase. Throwing crap at a wall can be a competitive sport if a community enjoyed it.
I mean it kills me that these pro players play Apex legends, a BR game, and demanded that kills be counted for points because otherwise its too boring. That would be like saying chess is not a valid game because pieces taken should be counted for points and it shouldn't just be about the win. These so called "pro" players only care about their streams not the game. They just want followers and subscribers on twitch, almost like when pro athletic sports rig matches for ratings.... Its fake.
In fact its not even competitive or respectable in my book if they do feel entitled to go pwn noobs and act like they are accomplishing something. The definition of a competitive player is someone who wants a competitive match. This is what RIOT understands with league of legends. You don't see people at your local park looking for noobs to play unless its for money. Its not fun or gratifying, its boring and unproductive.
You learn by playing people in your own level. Just lIke in any athletic sport in real life. Only on the internet do people have warped views of what competitive is or whats sporting. If people thought like that in real life athletic sports would be just as dead as e-sports instead of being a billion dollar industry for all ages and skill levels.@RichAC +1
In literally every other skill in the world that you could possibly learn you start out easy and get harder as time goes on. Only in multiplayer games suddenly there's a loud minority of people screaming you have to get crushed by great players constantly to get better .Hmmmmm, I wonder who those people who are so insistent about that might be.

Nobody should be bashed for their skill level, neither noobs or pros. But players should be matched with others who have similar skill. Its not fair to match someone with 30 hours of play time and 50 life time kills, against someone who has 500 hours of playtime and 3000 life time kills. Also you can't learn if you don't get the opportunity to improve yourself. And that is the case now.
More experiënce its a huge adventage and you deny new players to gain this experience in a fair and enjoyfull way. You also deny good players a real challange.
"you can't learn from noobs," doesn't make any sence. It is about the learning cruve. Also beginners can learn from each other, just as intermediate and pros. As long as you be matched with players who make the same improvement. Your comment makes you look like a child who cannot reason and has no knowledge of game experience. - @Prupisek hey i completely agree on the side of playing against pro will get you better, but i don't see how getting myself killed even when the game just started,, i just landed on my feet im already down,,, not even the slightest opportunity( which im not asking it ) its just why normals,,,, there's a ranked system for tryhards and pros normals should be more relaxing not stressing, i got enough stress at work

what do you learn if you get shot in 1.2 seconds?
You might check which weapon the enemy uses, but that doesn't mean your playstyle fits that weapon.
You might see which addons his weapons have, ok, but do you always find them!
If you could see where he found that weapon and the addons, YES, then you could learn something! You might watch the enemy , how he moves, where he loots... OK you can do that at youtube/twitch, too...
THE ONLY WAY TO LEARN OF PROS IS:
If you play TOGETHER WITH them in one squad.
They can explain you good loot positions and tell you something about weapons in voicechat. But most pros leave if they see you are a noob so....
- @Flashshark1980 You may learn how to land first. How to get a weapon first. How to strafe bullets to only take fights that benefit you. Countless other mechanics which it is your responsibility as a player to learn.
doesnt make sense for players like myself with 1.40 KDR going against players with pred badges and 20k plus kills
this is not how I learn the game, you are wrong
this is how I quit the game.the point is not everyone plays 12 hours a * day... we have jobs, families, school, etc... i understand the "git gud" argument but why tf cant casual players have their own space...its just annoying and surely is the number one reason game sales are down...not all of us are trying to be Dr Disrespect... some of us are just having fun in our spare time because we actually LIVE LIFE!...we have work to do and wives to sexually please...so no time to "git gud"... i dont mind losing at all... i mind being spawn killed and sniped from 300m away instantly when all I want is an exciting game to distract me from my slavery for a moment. I just got slaughtered in BFV because the enemy team was 60% tryhards...one guy, a pro pro... went 102-23 KD.... thats * stupid... he needs to be in a lobby of his own ilk... these game companies gotta do a better job of either matchmaking similar skill players...or giving us lobby choices where we can see the level of skill that populates the match... its dumb how people spend all their time gitting gud at games but they * absolutely suck at life... so there is no escape from them...they ruin your real life by sucking...then ruin your game life by only doing that... we benefit their real life by carrying their load...and benefit their game life by giving them easy kills... like...give productive smart people a * break.... seriously...
- @Prupisek Noobs learn more survivability when their games exceed 2 minutes of games. They learn - and I have learned - more when they can still alive & together.
How many players just play to rush others as soon as they have landed ? How many morons are jumping into the labo without to check back them ?
Noobs learn with the deaths but many of them don't care to be dead again anyways. They just need to frag ! Others probably just want to live more longer I guess/hope... Looks like we found a tryhard tryna defend himself
When my friends and I started to play this game, we were frustrated to no end. You faced off against top tier players. One guy versus three. He was outnumbered but shredded us apart.
Which is - very honestly - a crappy feeling.
I really can't understand this whole discussion, sorry!
When I started Apex 2 years ago there was NO skill based matchmaking.
You were just randomly paired with the pros and 50/50 chance to get a good or bad match.
LOT LOT LOT FRUSTRATION!
I quit after season 1 and came back in season 3 only to see my K/D still stuck on 0,4 and
still lot of sealclubbin...
But then in the end of season 3 SBMM came and my K/D raised to 0,8 and I really started
to like the game! I was paired with FAIR enemies I could beat!
YES THE GAME WAS FINALLY FUN!
I know SBMM seems not to work for the middle field.
Yes, since the lowbobs like me play in their own league now,
the middle field has to fight more top players...
If they would give the top players their own league, too, their waiting times would be longer.
And? Wait 1 minute, is that too long? Last time I played waiting time was no existant...
Go and play Mechwarrior online... you wait 5 minutes for a single match of 15 minutes there.
Yeah because all pros in any sport go to a random park to vs regular people to feel good about themselves pros should only vs pros
I dont think that biggest problem right now is that a match is composed out of players from different skill levels; a softer skill based matchmaking in causal/normal/public games is a part of the BR genre and a necessity to make "normal" mode any different from ranked and keep the queue times down for people in the bottom and top parts of the skill distribution.
The biggest problem right now is that the matchmaking mixes teams of 3 randoms of low-to-average skilled players against full premade death squads (all with 4k dmg and 20 kills badges etc. Just considering the factor that full premade squads, regardless of skill, play and die as 3 with no early leavers makes it so advantageous for them to play vs randoms; dont make it even worse by letting the best players of the lobby play together....
the matchmaking shud be strict to new players and the bounderies should expand as you get more kills
- The biggest problem is that beyond a certain skill level, there are cheaters in every single game exploiting soft anti-recoil macros/scripts/mods which are blatantly highlighted via spectating for just ten seconds. This gives the illusion that people are "just better" than you, so SBMM is part of the problem, but only because of lowlives.
Alas, there's nothing we can do, because there's no viable option to report cheaters on console, and there's been not a single response from the dev team about combating the issue or even acknowledging that it exists, so the best we can do is go and * ourselves, and play different games until they notice 🙂 I get what you are trying to say, but I just started playing this game again and I'm not as good on controller as I am on pc, so I'm only level 29 and I'm getting with players who have 1,000 plus kills, and are level 150 plus. I get really frustrated because they are all good and I'm just decent. I wouldn't say THEY are the ones ruining the fun, it's more of EA's problem because in other games, they put similar level people in the same lobbies. So if you are good/amazing, don't stop being good. But EA should fix this fast because I've seen it's a big problem. #HelpTheNon-Tryhards
Game used to be fun, now it's just filled with pros, sweats, and cheaters that 360 no scope you, while matchmaking is so bad, it gives the casual player, noob teammates and expect that player to carry the whole team. I'm sorry, but 1 decent player, with 2 noobs does NOT equal the same skill as a team like 3 preds, pro, sweat, and/or a cheater mixed.
- @Prupisek Actually, you lean better from playing people closer to your level. someone who downloaded the game yesterday will take much longer to learn the basics of the game if they regularly get instantly killed by pro players. And good players dont get much better if all they do is stomp noobs.
pro gamers joining regular lobbies are wrecking people ruins games and fun in general. can you imagine lebron james going to a gym where people are learning to play basketball, and he is just dunking on everyone and making them leave since they lost? that's the equivalent to sweaty gamers in casual games.
- @Prupisek clearly you didn't see quotation marks around pro. Read and reread.
"what do you learn if you get shot in 1.2 seconds?"
Use cover.
Strafe more.
🥳
- @Prupisek cant get good if you dont got a chance too
While this post is Yes, mostly just you being Salty to the better players of apex, I am in agreeance that they do need a better way of ranking their lobbies. Though I would not say that doing it by level is the best way. I'm almost level 40 with close to 100 kills under my belt, I am at best an average player and am in no way ready to be put into lobbies with players that have 1000 kills and a ridiculous KDR.
It might be better as someone suggested before to base the lobbies off KDR or other game stats.
Everyone wants to be good and get wins, this game is so competitive that people forget that it's just a game and to just have fun. We all improve at different speeds and play in different ways, and unfortunately when people get salty and whine and * about it, you get guys with nothing better to say than the traditional, community killing, toxic 'get better noob'.
Why would they care if you have a bad game when they've got an amazing KDR and probably 20+ wins for the season? But when they go to ranked and face off other players just as good as them or even better, they're the ones raging and calling the other players names.
