@hhnbbfggty66It's not the solution you're suggesting but if you get a strikepack or controller with back-paddles you can set one of those to crouch so you can have it set to hold-crouch. My friends who bunny hop on xbox do it this way. Most use bumper jumper as well so they dont need to stop aiming to jump at all.
Left bumper for jump and R3 for crouch might take a few games to get used to but its lifechanging.

I know, am thinking about getting one of those controllers.
But that will not be a universal fix.
I almost never see anyone bunny hoping on console.
And the few that are bunny hopping is due to them using an unothadox controller layout, controller, or they are using a mouse and keyboard.
Like, if I see someone bunny hopping and tracking me with perfect accutacy, i know they are using a mouse and keyboard.
I just wish their was an option to keep crouched-toggle toggled until I untoggle it by pressing crouch again.
But I may just use an unothadox controller layout for now.
This will be unfair for those other player as I bunny hop a R99 hipfiring Bangalore in their face.
If only I could use a wii remote.
