Re: Olympus void-tunnels needs a rework

@DrWizardo

I love the idea of screens showing the other end.

That said, I use these things all the time and seldom get caught. Rule Number One: don't go north to south, only go south to north so that when it spits you out you have some control over where you land and can escape a chase. Rule Number Two: never stop in the middle. Ever. Death trap. Don't stop to loot. Don't stop to fight. Just keep going. Rule Number Three: when crossing the middle always use your portal/grapple/sprint/smoke or whatever other ability you have.

And if your teammates stop in the middle then leave them. Set them free and if they don't come back then they were never yours to begin with.

  • @reconzero When I played last I think there was a rampart set up with shiela just picking people off one by one. The alert thing is not a good thing.

    @DrWizardo I do see no reason for the lip, other than to help enemies murder your downed teammate. I disagree with the screens idea tho. I think when someone comes through the portal, still have the warning, but have it momentarily be an ability free zone, for the same duration as the phase when you get out. To not make this overpowered, we could do away with the phase protection, and just have it disable all abilities. (This would be like Revenant’s silence)
