Can custom body/face presets be merged?

Hi!

Just a quick question, I'm just now getting into trying custom body and head presets for CAS. I was wondering if these files can be merged? I'm not sure if they are considered regular cc (like hair, clothes, etc.) or if they should be treated as script mods and not be merged?
