@Venron sbmm should be removed from casual, yes. You are carrying others in ranked because you're still in bronze-gold, which means it is working as intended, as the better player will outshine others. Apex did have a beginner level cap of up to level 10 before you were thrown into the sbmm lobbies, which is why a lot of people kept making smurf accounts because they sucked, badly.
The problem is that smurfs will just abuse it heavily, which is why a beginner pool can't exactly be made public and must be done behind the scenes.
As for players dropping solo in casual, dying and then leaving, the quickest solution to stop this is to count it as a death if you leave the game, this would stop it at least 70% - 80%.
I think the better option would be players who get more than 10kills for their initial games + very high accuracy should be instantly thrown into sbmm lobbies to get rid of the smurf issue undoubtedly.
