I understand where you're coming from, but I disagree. For most of us experienced apex players, we'd much rather get into full games so I don't think queue times would suffer all that much. Also, I practice in the Firing Range for quite a bit of time before I jump into public matches and it does not have the necessary examples of buildings, ziplines, etc. That are in the actual maps. For example, there's nothing in the Firing Range that imitates streamer building, muesem or construction building from World's Edge. The most popular POI's from any map are not represented. So for a new player or just someone who doesn't play often, the actual POI's in game are foreign to them. Also, literally all other mainstream games like COD, Warzone, Fortnite, Halo, etc. Have no minimum player requirement for their private lobbies and their queue times are just fine. Plus, with everyone being able to get into private lobbies, the player base would only grow. As I'm sure that I'm not the only one with friends that would play apex if we could explore the maps in private lobbies. Which in the end, actually helps the queue times improve. Alot of people don't want to play apex because they feel it's too intimidating. I believe lifting the requirement could and would change that.
