Belgium Players have never had access to Apex packs from what I understand.
This is because of the Laws in Belgium regarding games of chance and is not anything that EA can change as long as Belgium law is not changed.
Yeah but you were able to change your region from the ea website and buy the packs but they randomly removed that. I also don’t understad why we can’t get the free pack.
I do not think that EA randomly changed the ability to change your region. There is def a reason behind that and it probably has to do with regional local laws.
These kind of things are usually a bit complex, as legal matters usually are.
From what I understand, EA/Respawn usually plays it safe when it comes to these kind of guidelines enforced by certain laws, as a wrong move can have their game blacklisted in those regions.
Totally agree that some more attention should be given to these regions, as free packs from events could be allowed in these regions.
These kind of issues have existed for some events for these players, but they've been improving this piece by piece.
I mean, it's still not great, as the entire event would cost $580 as indicated by Midnight, which isn't really great at all.
Though these kind of things do take a lot of time, so I personally that players from these regions won't get the free pack.
The event runs for 3 weeks, I'm not sure how long it could take them to have it cleared by EA, but it seems unlikely for a change to be made within this period.
Definitely bad for those players, there have been improvements, though I don't think it has been enough yet.
It has become more accessible, though in some cases it ends up costing way more, which is a bit weird.
