Re: "EA servers are not available at this time"

I've been having problems logging in to the EA servers since the game has come out. Are there any fixes for this? Occasionally I'll be able to actually log on (to ultimate team, for example), but then I will quickly get an error saying "The EA servers are not available at this time. Please try again later."

This is becoming very frustrating.

Mine too but its 9/1/2014, i am very disapoinnted with madde, the only reason why i bought was there is no ncaa. I miss myplayer and i miss the way the feel was ncaa. I hate that i bought this digital, or i would of traded it in.

I am just hoping that they fix this, maybe i will like UT, but i can not even play anything. Servers are not  avail

Bought Madden 15 last week havent played in a couple of days Now i am unable to connect to any of my EA sports games online. UFC Madden FIFA
all say the same thing "unable to connect to ea servers at this time" Please help im very frustrated ☹️

Try power cycling your modem/router.

I have done that and still the same message across all titles

This is worth a try:

Reset the XB1 network card and clear the cache:

1. On the console, press and hold the Xbox button until the light behind it turns off (about 5 seconds), which means the console is off.
2. After the console has shut down, unplug the power cord and wait 30 seconds.
3. Plug the console back in and turn it on using the Xbox button. Power cycling will reset the network card and clear the cache.

Are non-EA games affected? Do you have any XB1 connectivity?

I got the game the day it came out, and haven't been able to connect to MUT since. Every time I click on it, it says that the EA servers are not available. I was on the phone with EA for probably a total sum of about an hour. I say "total sum" because I was hung up on multiple times. We troubleshooted the issue, going through multiple steps on my PS4 and laptop trying to figure out why I cannot connect. Nothing worked. Then, they have me go through a process where I need to edit my router and assign ports to my PS4's IP address. So he tells me to go through all the steps and if it still doesn't work, call back. I went through all the steps, which took me awhile considering I know nearly nothing about internet connection and networks. I think I did everything right, but it still doesn't work. I don't even want to call back... this is ridiculous. I paid $60 for this game and I can't even play all the game modes because EA's servers suck. Plus, it seems like basically half of Madden's trophies are for MUT, so I can say goodbye to trying to get the platinum. On an unrelated point, I'm pretty sure EA just makes their trophies MUT-related to urge players to spend more money. NHL 15 comes out next week, I'm guessing I won't be able to play HUT either? This is just dumb.

I am having the same problem.  Ea said the issue is resolved but ever time I enter the Ultimate Team mode I get kicked after 30 seconds to a minute. I keep getting the message that "EA servers are not available at this time. Check back later.....". I know it is an issue with the game because I do not disconnect from the internet, if I restart the game I can get right back into UT only to get kicked again, and all my other EA online games, Battlefield, FIFA work perfectly fime.

Also, I saw that an update rolled out to "fix" this problem reported days ago. My game has not been updated so I don't know whats up.  This is very frustrating.

Not to pick on you but in my case, I have the PS4, it is not a router issue, modem issue, etc.  It is a game issue.  How do I know?  I do not disconnect from the internet, I can exit UT mode and get back in only to get kicked again, and all other games with online, even EA games Battlefield and FIFA work fine.  It is specific to Madden 15 and UT mode.  This is happening to many many people.  Please fix this, or at least let us know that you realize this is an issue and are working on it. I feel like when you guys tell us about the modem resetting, changing ports, router issues it deflects from the issue that it is a game specific problem and not some issue on our end with our hardware.

I need to know why i keep getting the message Error The EA servers are not available at this time. please try again later. i have been getting this message for almost two weeks now. i bought the ultimate edition version madden and i cant even play the mode i want. i have a friend that lives right up the block from me and his works fine. please help me figure this out.

i understand EA, that have you to do maintenance on madden 15, but this popped up at 9:00 p.m, and ever since then, ive still haven't been able to sign in. Normally this happens, but only for a short period of time, then it's back to normal, but a whole fricking day, i'd payed for the ultimate edition, plus ea access, and now i can't even open my weekly packs, feeling ultimately ripped off, i can play every other game on my console, but the ea games. need answers, need my madden working!

I could sign into xbox live and play any other game but when it comes to madden 15 its say this error "Ea Server are not Available at this time. Please try again later." Anyone could help me out here i appreciate it.

Same issue. Can't get EA to respond in any way. So great they give us a message board they IGNORE. So we can complain about their product while they do NOTHING for their customers.  

Hello EA....  Guess what's happening for '16 if you don't make this right?  Not much for you.

i got no connection on my madden 15 on xbox one with the ea servers. My internet is at absolute optimal connection...  and at one point when i first got online with it, the ea servers had worked. then one day it started saying "ea servers are down....etc" but not all the time, i could almost trick it into going into my connected career. id do a couple roster moves, and itd kick me. then id go to the main menu and then back into connected careers and it'd at one point, let me back in. but would always boot me before letting me start a game. it'd get to the point where i'd select start game and then kick me from the servers. now i cant even get into the connected career (online of course). its very frustrating, never had an issue like this, read everything there is to read on it, got a wifi extender because i thought it was lack of service, i feel like i've tried it all. and it looks as though there is no one who knows how to fix it. i know the servers arent really down, my friends are all playing it, and its shitty because now they may actually stand a chance against me in madden... given the head start in online play. ive wasted so much time looking into this, please jsut email me @ [edit: email address removed]. last time i tried contacting someone on EA sports they closed my issue right after they opened it. just the worst customer service, a smack in the face. thanks

part of my beef is with the error message, 

"The EA servers are not available at this time.  Please try again later."

See, you read that and you think "it's an EA problem", but they don't bother telling me when "later" is.

But then you ask EA about it and they tell you it's your problem, not theirs.

Dear EA,

Suggest changing the error message to read as follows:

"There's something wrong, but we don't know what it is, we don't really care either because you've already handed your money over for the game."

having the same problem... since before xmas now...have you managed to get an answer yet? Have a very frustrated 11 year old that wants to sell his xbox for a play station haha

I've been able to pay MUT only once since I've had the game. How can they not fix this?
