Frustrated With Sims 4 Death Ambrosia Not Working - Help

@johnjjst Please check the following links for information death and resurrection. Perhaps some of the information there will address your specific situation. You said the sim didn't really die since they don't have a grave, but they are still dead. Please check the information to check for options. Also, do you have mods or cc?

Hi @SheriGR, thanks for the response, sadly neither of those links help ☹️ I'm confused a bit more actually. If my sim doesn't have a grave, does they mean they are not fully dead? I'm confused to why she is a ghost, but she can still age, and also had 'death by overheating' in the bio. If my sim isn't dead, but isn't alive, what can I do? If I do have to fall for cheats in the end, what should I do?

I don't have any mods yet, and not sure what CC means? 

CC means custom content. Have you tried running a game repair? Let the repair run for the game then wait for it to run for all additional packs (which will automatically happen following the game repair). [ Close your game. Open Origin, click 'Game Library' then right-click Sims 4 > Repair Game ] After this close Origin and restart Origin then your game and see if the issue remains. Please let us know if this helps.

Reply edit: I have been told by a fellow helper that this appears to likely be a combination of a couple of different bugs. Perhaps a bit of a perfect storm here. Please reference the following information that she shared with me:

• This post that said if you leave the active lot before the ghost goo moodlet wears off, or save and close while it's still active, the sim is stuck being a ghost. So sounds like that may have happened here? https://forums.thesims.com/en_us/discussion/comment/16724744/#Comment_16724744

• As an aside form these, another suggestion to try is to reset the sim and wait 24 hours.
• Also, if you have the wishing well you could try donating a large amount of simoleons so it is in a very good mood then try wishing for youth (save first). If successful it should reset to day one of their current age.

We both understand not wanting to use cheats, but sometimes it seems all bets are off... like when your sim is dying as a victim of a bug(s)! 😉 So... in those threads there are suggested tools and cheats that you can try a combination of to see what helps in your case. Also, if you are in need of more Ambrosia (or want to try a different batch) there is one that I made that is in my gallery: https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/pc/gallery/0FA9B12BEDF011E88D90526B46B29011  I have all of the ingredients except the angel fish in my gallery also, but recently the uploaded angel fish would no longer download - if you need items to re-make your ambrosia. I put a 'strike through' text for my repair game recommendation so you reference the rest of this, but it may be a good idea to repair the game after you have all of this completed, but not necessary to fix it if the the actions needed are like those in these posts. Please let us know how it goes.

This is a known bug with the Ghost Goo serum.  Also, the ambrosia is not working in the game.  I believe using a cheat is justified in this case since you are experiencing two separate bugs with your game.

@canelacalientewell ambrosia is something that works when i test to see if it works like just now but when i NEED it to work it sometimes dosnt ..... i dont and haven't used testing cheats only move objects type so i can revamp career buildings and if the sim is core to you everyday play..... dont count on ambrosia bind a book of life to the STILL ALIVE sim asap. 🙂
