mermaid tail won't go away, sim just swims everywhere
I just downloaded University, so I decided to make a new game using the same sim I made to play Island Living. It was a mermaid I made straight out of CAS. I had to move him into a lot first before he could apply to University and I figured I'd just put him back into Sulani. However, my game takes awhile to load and I wasn't paying enough attention, so he went into the water as soon as the lot loaded. I didn't think this was much of an issue until he got out of the water to talk to someone in the Island Welcome Wagon. His tail didn't disappear and he swam all the way to the other sim... through solid ground. Once he got there, he stood to talk to her, but he still had the tail. I thought maybe if I canceled the action, his legs would come back, but he just sank back into the ground and he floated like he would in water. I tried resetting him, but that just made him stand with his tail again and if I told him to go anywhere after resetting him, he would swim there and be floating in the ground again once he reached the place. I don't know what's wrong and I can't seem to get his tail to go away. He interacts with everything like he still has legs, he just swims and floats whenever he moves and his tail never goes away. None of my mods are active since I didn't reactivate them after downloading University, so I have no idea what could have caused this.

It may be a game bug that happened after the patch but first try to fix it this way:
Open the game folder and delete the localthumbcache.package file.
Next open Origin/My games library - right-click on TS4 - option "Repair game"
You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.
Don't enable mods yet and check if the game is working properly.
If it will work move the mods folder to the desktop and turn on the game to create a new, empty mods folder.
Check if there are new updated versions of the mods and CC you are using.
Then copy from desktop your mods and CC and paste it in the new mods folder. First, paste script mods one by one every time checking if the game is OK. You can start with UI Cheats Extension mod because it will always be broken after the patch
Do the same with CC but if you have a lot of this, try the 50/50 method. ( divide your CC into smaller batches for example 50 pieces in one subfolder and check these subfolders one by one)
I don't work for EA
