Can't Throw A Birthday Party for Game Generated Sim?
So today the sim I married in my legacy challenge should be having a birthday party. Her husband aged up at his birthday party the previous night, and now it is her turn. However when I go to organize a birthday party for her the only sim it's letting me throw a birthday party for is Keaton (my sim that aged up the previous night). I already have the cake made, so I guess they'll just have a little private birthday party but it really sucks that she's not getting a party.
I've tried planning the party with both sims. First I went through Keaton, but when I go to select the birthday-sim only Keaton is available. I then switched to the female sim to see if she would show up if she was planning the party. Nope. Keaton is still the only available sim for the party.
She hasn't aged up yet and her Simology pane still shows that she's ready to age up (this phase is also the same time in wich Keaton had his party).
The only reason I can see that this would be an issue is that the game doesn't want to let me throw a party for a game-generated sim, seeing as this is my legacy save file, Keaton was my founder sim and the female sim is the game-generated sim that he married.
The only other slight issue I can think of is that this female sim is pregnant, but would that really stop me from aging her up?

UPDATE:
Oookay so aparently I also cannot have her blow out the candles on the cake - only Keaton can. So basically I just wasted 25 simoleons on a birthday cake for a sim that can't even celebrate her own birthday :< whatthe balls. Is this because she's pregnant? Can I not age up a pregnant sim? If so that is really lame because then her birthday and the baby's birthday are going to be on the same day and if there's anything annoying about the sims it's when your whole household's birthdays are all on the same day.
