Re: Mods not saving in game options

Hi. I have the same problem after the 1/11-21 update and I went here and saw you answer. Unfortunately too late since i already “let” avast block the gameversion.txt. Do you know if there’s a way to reverse this? I didn’t know what it meant and it recommended me to block it so I did 😭

Edit 20 mins later: Fixed it, it was the avast program causing the mod disabling loop. I went to the avast app, then clicked ”protection against blackmail” > “block or allow app” > then added the sims 4 folder to the “allowed” list. 

No idea how or why that worked but it did, NOTHING else worked
