I had this exact problem. I tried everything to get the horse ranch dlc to work with my mods, but i couldn’t figure why it wasnt working until went through ALL of my mods and found out that ( The More Traits in CAS mod by thepancake1 and MizoreYukii) is NOT compatible with the horse ranch dlc. I absolutely love this mod but it was the reason why my cas traits for the horses wasnt showing up and i couldnt buy/rescue a horse but since i removed that mod. The horse ranch dlc and my other mods have been working pretty great together. So for anyone who has this mod try to remove it and see if you horse ranch dlc works. Hope this helps anyone with mods.

thank you! I think this was my issue too as I removed everything and repaired my game and did 50/50 method and it was chingyu more traits. I can do everything with horses now, my only issue is the pre-made families in the game that were meant to have horses don't. Did that happen to you too? I suppose it doesn't really matter if the rest is working.

@amandakatanda Yes! At first I saw that they did have horses when I first went to the world & then after I started playing a household all the horses disappeared! Even after I fixed the issue they still aren't there. 🤦🏻‍♀️ So I'm not sure how to go about getting them back. 😕 I just move out one of the households & move in one of my families instead.

That's what I usually do! I'll add families from the gallery for my NPC's so there is other sims and/or pets instead of just mine! lol But glad you got it working! 🖤

I decided to share what all I tried to get mine working & see if it would help anyone & I'm glad it has! 😊 I know it can be so frustrating especially when you pay money for a pack  & can't get it to work properly. 

Hi @BrittneyGermain! Have you tried deleting the "localthumbcache" from The Sims 4 folder since you've made changes to your mods folder? If not, I would suggest trying that! 😊

This seemed to be one of my

problems earlier when I had this same issue. 🥴 I always seemed to forget to delete it after making changes. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Hope this helps!

What i’ve seen on reddit and discord so far, all the more traits in cas mods are not working with the horse ranch dlc at the moment. Hopefully they come out with a better update soon

@BrittneyGermain Hmm, Have you checked here to make sure all your mods are updated and/or taken out all the broken mods? I'm assuming you play with mods since you said you deleted the more traits mod.  Also, maybe try looking at this thread here & see if it might help as well. I did read on there that some of LittleMsSam's mods were causing an issue. Just trying to think of what else it could be.. Not sure what else to suggest to try. 😕 Hopefully you can get it working for you soon! ❤️
