Re: Sims 4 Custom Presets and Sliders Reset to Default in Gameplay

Hi @Lissi123Lissi Two more things here, please:

1. Are you in DX9 or DX11? If you're in DX11, have you tested in DX9?

2. Please test in a new user folder: Drag the whole The Sims 4 folder to the desktop, restart the game, and exit. Test one single preset that's not on a Broken list and let me know which one you're testing with; don't install any other mods. Please test in a new save. If it works, please exit, copy over one old save, and retest.

I will note that mods not working isn't considered a game bug, so there could end up not being something that gets done for this. Assuming it's replicable, it might need Sims 4 Studio changes, etc.

  • @luthienrising Thank you for your fast reply! Trying the new user folder method, I was able to pinpoint the problematic mod and resolve the issue. It turned out that the MiikoCC Eye Presets mod was causing the problem. Your assistance was very helpful in getting my game working properly again.

@Lissi123Lissi Thanks for coming back with a culprit! Was an updated version available? If the current release is causing this, I'll add it to "Broken."

  • @luthienrising It was definitely the latest version. It might have conflicted with another mod or been broken by the latest patch. Thank you again, for your help!

@Lissi123Lissi Yep, I can duplicate this. And it's not just custom sliders that reset - it's the game's own. (I tested with no custom items except miiko eyes.) Thanks for the report! It'll be in the next Broken Mods list update.
