@Wndblwz So sorry it's not clearing for you! The stage that I expected to see the error cleared was after this order of things: first, remove the Mods fold, then delete localthumbcache, then Game Repair, and only then load the Sim.
My next suggestion would be try when the Mods folder is empty, loading an earlier version of the save. But don't put mods back when you're trying to recover this household.
