Re: Unable to start event after putting in mods (Sims 4)

@GlacierSnowGhost The issue with TOOL Mod is that it's current not compatible with the Events UI or any calendared event; I don't know if it stops holidays. This goes back to before this patch. It's not a new issue. But you do need to updat TOOL or remove it completely; only the updated version is compatible with the updated game at all.

You can still use TOOL. Just take it out during gameplay.

I found out about the issue from the creator's discord server and its support people.

Thanks @luthienrising .  It's helpful to know the issue has been around for a while.  I thought it was new.  I finally went and made an account on Discord so I could read what they were saying about it.  Looks like I would already have the issue in my mod version based on the dates of some of the posts.  I'm currently on the PC version 1.107.151.1020 for the game, with the appropriate corresponding TOOL mod version for that patch.  So I'm a few game patches behind.  That's why I was trying to decide if I should wait some more before updating the game (and thus needing to also update the mod).  But since the issue pre-dates my current patch, I obviously already have the issue, I just didn't notice.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction to find info.
