A way to have voice chat only for parties

I often play apex with 2 of my friends, ones on Xbox, one on PS4 and me on PC. We are forced to use voice chat in game (which is fine audio wise) however, when its only me and one other we can only play duos and not arenas or trios without having the other person in the squad hear our voice and conversation.

It would be great if there was an option to only have voice chat on with in a party. I was thinking something as simple as a button in the voice chat section if the settings.

    @LavaKeyYou could try using discord, not sure if its on PS4 but you could use a phone or something I just know most streamers use it like when I played with Backoffmyjankz and CrazyRachet they were on discord so could only use text chat and many streamers have said they were on discord so couldn’t talk to randoms

    Also if you don’t mind them hearing the conversation you could just go into your inventory, go over to the squad tab, and mute the other player’s voice and text chat

    the reason they use discord is because the in game audio is pretty bad and most of the time you don’t even know what someone is saying because its a garbled up mess
